What the number measures

98.8% is the share of automatically filed emails that land in the right matter and the right subfolder, measured under real-world conditions on law-firm mail — court registries, fellow lawyers, clients, scanned documents included. Not a laboratory score on a clean dataset: mail as it actually arrives, with its empty subject lines, its "FW: FW: RE:" and its crookedly photographed PDFs.

Why the level holds

• ✓It files like you do, not like a generic rule. During onboarding, Mailatio learns your conventions — internal references, subfolder organization, naming habits — with a designated contact at the firm who validates or corrects. When its suggestions match your decisions, it moves to autonomy.
