ModelPricing
Mailatio

We charge for the AI's work. Not for your lawyers.

Nearly every piece of software for lawyers charges per user per month. Mailatio is, to our knowledge, the only one in its category to do the opposite: one subscription for the whole firm, unlimited users, a price that depends on the volume of emails the AI actually processes. It isn't a commercial gesture. It's the only model consistent with what the product does.

What per-user pricing actually produces

When every seat costs money, the firm optimizes seats. The assistant has no license, neither does the trainee lawyer, and the associate who arrived in September waits until January. The result: the tool meant to serve the whole firm is used only by the people who already cost the most — and everyone else's mail keeps piling up. A filing tool that half the firm can't access doesn't file half the mail.

Why charging by volume is the honest model

The order of magnitude, concretely

A six-person firm processes around 2,100 emails per month. With Mailatio: the Cabinet plan, €399 per month, everyone connected. The same firm on a €60-per-user tool would pay €360 per month — for a mailbox assistant that files nothing into the practice-management software — or would choose to equip only three people. And the human alternative, a secretary dedicated to the mail, runs to thousands of euros a month: we've made the full comparison here.

Why the others don't do it

Per-seat pricing maximizes revenue per equipped firm; volume pricing maximizes the number of people who use the tool. The first model serves the vendor, the second serves the product — because Mailatio is only good if it sees all the mail go by. Our interest and yours are aligned: the more the firm uses it, the better it files. It's that simple.
